Zips Sandy Man was shown as a two year old, winning numerous pleasure futurities. As a three year old he accumulated 6 ROMS and 96 Paint points in open, amateur and youth events in four months (February 2000 - June 2000) before his untimely death. Tammy said that he was a great horse with natural pleasure movement and an incredible disposition. She also said that she was surprised how tall he got considering that his dam was only 15HH.
